ABOUT

My name is Andy Teasdale and I am a British Mountain Guide and Photographer by trade. I have spent many weeks over many years, climbing and working in some fantastic mountain areas around the world. Whilst climbing and guiding, I have always had a camera close to hand. Photography has allowed me to capture moments and memories in places that have been hard to get to, or may never look the same again. A view for the first time ever, a fleeting moment with nature, the in-depth experience of an adventure, all of these and many more are what drive my passion for photography.

I have a wide range of photographic interests. Landscape, nature and adventure sports are a few of them, but they all encourage me to look deeper into the world around me to see if or how I can capture a moment in time that is as special as the experience. This isn't always easy, but it's great when it works!!

Printing, mounting and framing are all part of the photographic process in my mind, after all, that is how you get to best view an image - hanging on a wall. By doing this work myself I can maintain a high standard of quality control. If I wouldn't hang an image on my own wall at home, it won't feature in my gallery!

I'm not too shabby as a woodworker aswell and I have solid picture frame making skills. I have been sourcing rough cut Ash, Sycamore and Oak locally and using that to make many of my frames. The woods are from a renewable source and allow me to make a frame whatever size I need. Believe me, they look amazing when finished.

Come for a look, you'll love it!
